Since 1925, Bowen Lodge has built its reputation as a world-class resort for walleye fishermen visiting Northern Minnesota, and a premier vacation destination for families seeking the Northwoods experience.

When Jens and Ashley Heig reached out to collaborate on some new merchandise for the Bowen Lodge shop, they expressed interest in commissioning custom artwork that would stand out from the typical, templatized lodge graphics they’d seen elsewhere.
Having recently completed a full rebrand of the lodge, they wanted to begin layering in bespoke product graphics to further tell the story of their family’s little slice of paradise in Northern Minnesota.
I conceptualized and developed three custom graphics, ranging from a typography-based lockup to a fully illustrated, multi-color artwork. The response to the new merchandise collection has been overwhelmingly positive in its first season at the shop.
